7/25/20- The NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series returned to action Saturday night at Hickory Motor Speedway with the KSP Promotions 215.

NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Late Models pound the pavement for 40 laps in the first race of a doubleheader for the premier division. Josh Berry in the #88 would set fast time and start from the point with Ryan Millington in the #15 to his outside. Row two would see Kody Swanson in the #77 and Sam Butler in the #81 lined up side by side for the start. Results

7/18/20- After a late afternoon thunderstorm on a warm July afternoon, the always exciting NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series returned time action at America's Most Famous Short Track, Hickory Motor Speedway, on Saturday night.

The Advance Auto Parts Late Models would be the hit the track for 40 laps in the first twin of their doubleheader. Josh Berry in the #88 would top the charts in qualifying and start from the top spot with Ryan Millington in the #15 to his outside. - Results

7/11/20 The NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Late Models would lead off the night's excitement with the first of their twin 40 lap features. Josh Berry in the #88 would set fast time and start from the front row with Ryan Rackley in the #1 to his outside. Row two would see Nolan Pope in the #1 and Mike Darne in the #6 to his outside. Berry would get a great start and move to the top spot bringing Pope with him to second. The caution would fly on lap two as the #51 of Perry Patino and the #8 of Bob Saville would end up in the turn three wall. Both drivers would retire from the event. The restart would see Berry and Pope leading the field back to the green flag. Berry would once again move to the front with Pope keeping a close eye on him in second. - Results

6/27/20 - NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Racing Series came roaring back to the Birthplace of the NASCAR stars on Saturday night with the running of the KSP Promotions, LLC 315
NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Late Model doubleheader with the first of two 40 lap races. Josh Berry in the #88 would set fast time in qualifying and start from the top spot with Ryan Millington in the #15 to his outside. Row two would see Nolan Pope in the #1 and Austin McDaniel in the #12 side by side for the start. Berry and Millington would duel door to door as McDaniel would come to a stop in turn two with a problem. As the caution would fly McDaniel would come to pit road for repairs and return to the track. Millington would be scored as the leader and bring the field back to the green flag on the outside with Berry to his inside. After a handful of laps Berry would use the low line to move back to the top spot with Millington close in tow

6/6/20 The unmistakable sound of high horsepower engines roared through the Catawba Valley once again on Saturday night with the running of the MTP Tire 220 at Hickory Motor Speedway. This would mark the third straight event without fans in attendance, but with a worldwide audience and pay per view on Speed51.

Leading off the night's events would be 40 laps in race one of doubleheader on the night for the Late Model Stock Cars. Mason Diaz in the #24 would set fast time in qualifying and start from the pole position with Chris Hudspeth in the #28 to his outside. Row two would see Annabeth Barnes-Crum in the #12 and Mason Ludwig in the #12 side by side for the start. The green flag would see Diaz and Hudspeth door to door jockeying for the top spot until lap 3 when Diaz would nose ahead for the lead. Hudspeth would tuck in close in tow with Ludwig running third and Barnes-Crum in fourth. The caution would fly on lap 7 as the #81 of Sam Butler would come to a stop in turn three with what appeared to be engine problems. -Results

"Ryan Millington and Vince Midas split Twin 40s

5/22/20 - Ryan Millington in the #15 would set fast time and start from the top spot with the #2 of Matt Leicht to his outside. Row two would see Chris Hudspeth in the #28 and Thomas Beane in the #31. The front row would stay door to door until Leicht would use the high groove and nose ahead on lap 3. The caution would also fly on lap three as the #25 of Matt Piercy would spin in turn two after contact. Piercy would be able to continue with minimal damage. The green flag would see Leicht at the point and Millington to his outside. The pair would once again do battle for the top spot but this time Millington would use the high line to take the top spot. Lap 15 would see Beane make his move around Leicht for second. After moving back on the track Leicht would pull to pit road on lap 22 with mechanical issues. Sam Butler in the #81 would move around Gage Painter in the #12 on lap 30 for the third position. Millington would put his racer on cruise control and drive on to the victory. Beane would finish 2nd with Butler getting his best Hickory Motor Speedway finish with 3rd. Painter would hang on to finish 4th and Mason Ludwig would work his way through the field to finish 5th. more results

Josh Berry Sweeps ParamountAuto.com Twins

5/16/20 - After two very long months of isolation and concern over the Coronavirus and several weeks of planning between track management, the NCDHHS, and the Catawba County Public Health, racing roared back to life at Hickory Motor Speedway on Saturday night with the running of the ParamountAuto.com Twin 51s. With strict social distancing in effect and Governor Cooper's planned entry into phase two still several days away, America's Most Famous Short Track would run it's first race ever without fans in the stands. The event would have a wide reach as Speed51.com would partner with Hickory Motor Speedway to offer a live pay per view, sending the race to computers, TVs, phones, and tablets across the world. more results
