Rhodes takes the Checkered Flag in the Fall Brawl Presented by: Hickory Motor Speedway

Thanks to all the fans, sponsors, drivers and crews for turning out on this crisp fall night for our Annual Fall Brawl Presented by Hickory Motor Speedway.

The first event of the night would be the Sportsman Racing Classics with the #16 of Bill Webb taking the pole followed by the #48 of Larry Benz. Webb would take the early lead but the race would be for second between the #0 of Kirby Allen and Benz for several laps. Allen would take second from Benz. On lap nineteen, however Benz would slow and comes to pit road. The #2 of Don Fenn move by Allen for second. At the checkered flag Webb would take the win, followed by Fenn, Allen, the #00 of Herby James and the #98 of Charles Thorne.

The next event of the night would be the 50-lap race for the Paramount KIA Limited Late Models with the #09 of Kyle Mansch and the #6 of Brandon Setzer starting on the front row. Caution would come out early for Setzer when something broke on the right rear causing his car to spin in turn 4. After the restart several cars began to battle throughout the field, making for some exciting racing. On lap thirty-four the #29 of Mitch Walker would pit and on lap thirty-seven, a multi-car crash would bring out another caution, involving the #11 of Dillon Houser, the #92 of Taylor Nesbitt, the #25 of Marcus Lambert and the leader at the time, Kyle Mansch. The #51 of Jeremy Pelfrey would inherit the lead for the restart. After the restart, the #76 of Jerick Johnson and the #15 of Sheflon Clay would make contact causing Clay to spin and collecting multiple cars including Mansch and the #98 of Todd Gilliland. The red flag would be displayed as track officials would clean up the debris. On lap thirty-nine Johnson and Nesbitt would make contact in turn two to bring out the final caution. At the checkered flag on lap fifty it would be Pelfrey taking the victory, followed by the #69 of Spencer Boyd, the #84 of Dylon Wilson, Clay and Houser.

Our NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Bojangles Late Models feature event would be up next with the #88 of Josh Berry on the pole and the #41 of Ben Rhodes starting second. Berry would lead the first lap, but Rhodes would take the position from Berry on lap three relegating Berry to third with the #12 of Austin McDaniel moving into second. On lap twelve the #2 of Matt Leicht would be forced to pit. On lap twenty-one the #6 of Will Gallaher and the #25 of Brayton Haws would make contact, but both would regain control of their cars and no caution would be displayed. There were battles throughout the field with the #25 of Matt Piercy, the # 8 of Blake Jones the # 77 of CJ Hulsey, and the # 67 of Jacob Harrell working their way towards the front. On lap eighty-eight all four drivers would get stacked up in turn two with a slower car and continue on. On lap ninety-six the #75 of Landon Huffman in his first NASCAR Whelen All- American Series Bojangles Late Model start would bring out the caution for a broken trailing arm. On lap one hundred and one McDaniel got moved up high into the wall and a broken track bar would end his night. On lap one hundred forty-nine, the #67 of Jacob Harrell and the #77 of CJ Hulsey would make contract sending Hulsey spinning. At the checkered flag it would be Rhodes, followed by Berry, Harrell, Jones and Piercy.

Starting on the pole for the K & P Construction 4-Cylinders would be the #99 of Matt Elledge with the #09 of Shane Canipe starting second. Lap 3 would bring the #10 of Tim Canipe down pit road with mechanical problems. The race would go caution free with pole sitter Elledge taking the victory, followed by the #98 of Chase Pollard, the #00 of Eddie Gilbert, S. Canipe and T. Canipe.

Starting on the pole for the WrenchRags Renegades would be the #16 of Carroll McKinney followed by the #8 of Kenneth Roberts. Action would begin early when McKinney and Roberts would make contact on lap two, causing McKinney to spin and collecting the #22 of Daniel Moore. McKinney would be able to continue, however, Moore would be forced to retire for the night. Roberts and McKinney would race their way back to the front. At the checkered it would be Roberts taking the win, followed by McKinney, the #77 of Shawn Hayes, the #6 of Darren Dickinson, and the #85 of Dustin Walker.
